While Tai Chi Chuan is practiced in many countries & by most people primarily as a health exercise, it is also a martial art. The Tai Chi Chuan solo form is a sequence of movements requiring 10 to 20 minutes to perform. Through practice of this form, the student learns relaxation, balance, coordination, control, correct breathing and good posture while also building a repertoire of self-defense movements.
