All self-producing artists are
invited to inquire about Linkages, our performance rental
program. Linkages are promoted as co-presentations by the
artist and Links Hall.

For $800 per weekend, artists receive:
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday night performances;
with access to the space two hours before each showtime.
(Note: if you wish to do two performances, the Linkage
fee will still be $800; if you wish to do more than
three performances, the fee is subject to increase,
depending on your proposed schedule of performances.)
- Full use of light and sound equipment.
- Dressing room, storage space.
- 14 hours of tech and dress rehearsal time, and
a technical orientation to the space.

The usual technical rehearsal
schedule is:
Tuesday evening from 8pm-Midnight
Wednesday evening from 8pm-Midnight
Thursday evening from 6pm-Midnight
Note:
If you would only like 2 performances or different performance days, please contact Links Hall.
Box office services:
Links Hall will take phone reservations, and provide box office
staff.
Marketing support:
Links Hall agrees to include a listing of your event on our website, in our printed materials, a press release targeted to listings editors and appropriate arts editors, and our e-mail and web promotions.
Criteria for participation in LINKAGES:
- Compatibility of the work with the mission
of Links Hall, which is “Links Hall encourages artistic
innovation and public engagement by maintaining a facility
and providing flexible programming for the research, development
and presentation of new work in the performing arts.”
We will review proposals in this context, and may require
the artist’s bio and one paragraph outlining the proposed
project (including the artist’s assessment of its appropriateness
for Links Hall).

(ie. wooden dance floor).
Some general information:
- Before booking, call Roell Schmidt to discuss your artistic vision to make sure it aligns with Links Hall's Mission. She is available during office hours at 773.281.0824, or through email at rschmidt@linkshall.org.
- Check our Google Calendar to see what weekends are available for booking. If a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night says "SHOW", that means it is available. If the weekend you are looking for has a performance title listed, please call the office as programs may just be on hold.
- Draft a brief proposal about your program once a performance date is decided, and submit it to Links Hall.
- A signed letter of agreement (provided by Links Hall) and a $300 deposit are
required to confirm the Linkage. The deposit will be applied to the total
rental fee, leaving a balance to be paid no later than the Friday following
the last performance.
- Box Office income is deposited in Links
Hall’s bank account. Link Hall will provide the artist
with a check for box office income (less the balance of
the Linkage fee) no later than the first Wednesday following
the final performance.
- Links Hall’s Technical Specifications
are posted on our website.
- Links Hall has a video projector available
for rent to Linkage artists at a subsidized rate. Please
contact us for more information.
