Kristina Fluty

Kristina Fluty has been dancing and teaching all around the city since 2002. Molly Shanahan/Mad Shak has been her primary creative/performance home since 2003, and she is honored to serve as a Board member and provide administrative support behind the scenes. She has also presented her work at Harvest Contemporary Dance Festival, Links Hall, Hamlin Park, Epiphany Church, Stage 773, and many festivals and collaborations with other choreographers. Kristina is an Assistant Professor of Movement-for-Actors at The Theatre School at DePaul University, and also teaches dance at Lou Conte Dance Studio and Dovetail Studio, among other locations and companies. She holds her MA in Dance/Movement Therapy, her Graduate Certificate in Laban Movement Analysis, and her Movement Pattern Analysis Certificate, all from Columbia College Chicago, and her BA in Dance is from Point Park University. Kristina started Kinespark Consulting in 2015 as a home for her offerings as a movement facilitator, coach, and analyst. Kristina is honored to be a LinkUp alumna from 2007, when she created “Little Girl Gone” with co-dancer MarySue Miller Reese and musician Ben Wright.
