Margaret Morris - I am another yourself
A rigorous dance theater duet in which the characters are sisters, lovers, rivals, and reflections. Their precarious friendship shifts between states of conflict and intimacy activated by their recurrent play with the transmutation of a kiss. Nikki Patin - Nikki Patin’s Secret: The Most Beautiful Boogieman
An a cappella, multi-genre piece that combines spoken word, song, and burlesque. Patin’s performance is based on Mos Def's composition The Boogieman Song. Nikki Patin was featured on the fourth season of HBO’s Def Poetry Jam and is a contributor to 848 on NPR. www.nikpatin.com
