From roadside memorials to makeshift barriers, Temporary Services presents an “absolutely fascinating and incredibly life affirming” (The Wooster Collective) photo performance of the ways people push past the original planned design of cities. |

The Mountains of Illinois
featuring Bonnie Fortune, Mike & Al Fleming, Kevin Hamilton, Audrey Petty and Temporary Travel Office
Go on a parking lot tour of Wrigleyville (bring your mittens) then call up the ghost of a landscape destroyed by mountain top removal coal mining (mittens optional) in a literal and figurative journey of shifting landscapes, performances and readings. |

A family farm bisected by I-74, a Nicaraguan fortress turned municipal dump, and oranges in winter do-si-do in an evening of live performances and short film screenings. |

Welcome spring with a Shadow Puppet Show / Gongbath / Dream In. Bring your own mat, pillow and blanket and immerse yourself in a storytelling journey that is at once sonic, visual and visceral; a celebration of the return of Spring. You'll be bathed in the reverberations of a 38" Earth Gong as it unites the waves of shadow, light, and Earth, taking you on a journey of discovery and rebirth. Featuring unique and fantastic puppets, poetry, ritual, and masterful gong performance, this event is guaranteed to be unlike any performance you have ever experienced. |

DIRT concludes with curator Deke Weaver, joined by Allen and Peck, in a video-sound performance (crop circles, cowboy songs, evil bunnies) hopping back and forth over the fuzzy line dividing New Age cheese and the breathtaking, the haunting, the disturbingly beautiful. |
